Peppermint tea is one of my favourite things about summer and after having it fresh, I find it’s really difficult to go back to the store-bought tea bags (bleh!) Luckily, growing peppermint is like growing weeds: if you stick it into the ground and leave it alone, it’ll take over your whole garden. Some people recommend growing it in pots for this reason, but my family loves it so much, we’re ok with having it everywhere, lol.
- 5 peppermint leaves (you can definitely add more or less, depending on how strong you like your mint)
- 1 cup boiled water
- Pour boiled water over leaves and steep for about 5 minutes.
- You can remove the leaves before drinking or keep them in.
