Since ‘feeling good’ is what it’s all about, we take a multi-dimensional approach to natural wellness at Happy Holistics.  By incorporating ancient wisdom and the teachings of our ancestors with current scientific literature, we’ll help guide you to health and happiness.

Hello, my name is Judy Trinh and I’m a registered holistic nutritionist and yoga instructor in Toronto, Canada.  For more information about my background, click here.

Yoga is a study of the mind, body, spirit and how they connect and work with one another.  Depending on the individual instructor, teachings can range from breath-work to meditation to movement-focused sessions and often involve a combination of these three elements.

Judy’s classes encourage an exploration into how things feel in our bodies when we move from one yoga pose to another as well as when we sit in these shapes.  She is an advocate for safe physical practice and uses her strong background in anatomy to encourage smart alignment.

For private one-on-one sessions, group instructions and/or corporate classes, contact us to see if we’d be a good fit for you or for more information about rates and availability.   Yoga teaching is available in-person or through Skype.

Holistic Nutrition is truly an integrative approach to health and wellness.  From the nutritional perspective, we focus on factors such as:

  • choosing the right foods for you
  • bringing mindfulness to eating habits to support lifelong wellbeing
  • encouraging the consumption of a variety of nutrients, as well as where they are coming from
  • sorting out the facts from fiction and debunking dietary mistruths
  • etc.

The ‘holistic’ aspect is where we take into consideration the question of, “what else is contributing to your feelings of dis-ease and what can we do about it“.  While our innate tendency is to try and find the easiest route to health – to find that magic bullet – to weight-loss or to gaining more energy, our bodies are a complex network of systems that make up a greater system which can be influenced by our environment and the habits we choose to do.  As such, we may ask questions and address lifestyle factors like:

  • your work conditions
  • stress management
  • activity levels
  • relationships
  • etc.

Find delicious, nutritious and easy recipes here.  Most of them involve just throwing tasty things together (because these are the things I eat and that’s how I cook!)  A few of them require more ingredients or are a little bit more labour-intensive –> but they’re worth it, I promise :).

I’m also the type of crazy, where I make my own body care products and cleaners…sooooo there’s that!

Here’s a full index of all my recipes.
